Hi, I’m Kate!
I turn real flowers into jewellery, creating each piece by hand from my little workspace in Gloucestershire.

I first fell in love with real flower jewellery when I came across beautifully made pieces using dried flowers and resin a few years ago. There were delicate pressed flowers that looked almost as though they were captured behind glass, as well as flowers kept in their natural three-dimensional form. I loved the idea itself, but I was just as drawn to the craftsmanship – everything was delicate, precise and beautifully finished.

Perhaps that’s why it appealed to me so much. I’ve always been someone who notices the tiniest details and wants things to be done properly. So while working with flowers and resin was something I had to learn, being meticulous about the finished result was there from the very beginning.

There was plenty to figure out – how to dry different flowers while keeping them looking their best, how to work with such delicate materials, how different flowers behave in resin, and how to get every little detail just right.
Today, that same attention to detail is at the heart of everything I make. People often joke that my middle name should be meticulous, and they’re probably not wrong. Every piece passes through my hands from flower to finished jewellery, and I’m incredibly particular about what eventually leaves my workspace.

Because I work with real flowers, no two pieces will ever be exactly the same. Even flowers from the same plant can differ in colour, shape and size – those tiny natural differences are part of what makes each piece individual.

The flowers themselves come from all sorts of places. I grow some in my garden, pick some while I’m out and about, and source others when I find varieties I want to work with. I dry most of them myself, carefully preparing them before they ever become part of a piece of jewellery.

Alongside my collections, I also create custom jewellery using your own flowers – from wedding bouquets and flowers from a loved one’s garden to blooms connected to a particular person, place or moment. I also create memorial jewellery and can incorporate small amounts of ashes, hair or pet fur.

One of my favourite parts of floral affection is meeting people at markets, flower shows and events around the UK. I love that moment when someone looks closely at a piece and realises the flowers inside are actually real – especially when they start wondering how on earth I managed to get them in there.
